Banging Towards History

by Wolfgang Nibori

in chisel contrast, marble bearing biology formed
knocking out the invisible, every pound priceless
precision aimed at life yet unliving
still life kind of Frankenstein
rising stronger than bone, called forth
as an avatar spirit, slave to people far and wide
holding a moment the way ice locks water
standing symbolic, as immortal as its master
saying nothing lasts forever
but quite nearly proving itself wrong

It Takes a Dreamer

by Wolfgang Nibori

Is the sky climbable? I do believe so
Along a path of snagging thorns, where roses grow
Golden moments strung along, giving off a pleasant hum
Cashing in quiet time, pondering all dreams as clouds
Soaring hawks smiling to those who choose the ground
A burst of fresh imagination, potion for the soul
Light, airy sensation and then straight up we’ll go
Cruising on to new perspectives
Winging wild cross this crystal air
I admit my hopes grow interstellar
Yet I know for certain, one day I’ll be there
