How Do I Look?
How Do I Look?
by Wolfgang Nibori
A snap took them away creating a phantasm haze
Of course, I already understood damage, brokeness
Careful hands and chemical bond seal eyes to faces
faces otherwise blind beyond their very noses
faces naked if exposed, faces bearing divets
throngs cleared by ingenuity from terrible birthmarks
I’ve got to hand it to sand, without which lines cease to exist for me
