little pig, little pig

by Wolfgang Nibori

transistor tested hourly, marks upon my circuitry
flicker, flicker electric widget stamper
balled you up, tossed in the filthy hamper
snap your fingers, roaches come a’running
should i not make light of poverty?
it seems a joke could ease the pressure
of a blank account that’s choking me
yet it just goes on and on and on
try to drag me down to wring me out
even lightning quick can’t happen quick enough
in the woodpecker spirit of things, i keep knocking
on fortune’s door until i thought it over
decide it’s time to plant c-4

bare minimum

by Wolfgang Nibori

congratulations. yet another nail pounded into
the house that straw promises pride themselves on
a place even big bag Wolf wouldn’t bother blowing over
know why that is? it’s so obvious it’d be cheating
every time you turn around prices rise as incomes dive

horse tied

by Wolfgang Nibori

cars, a national obsession, automotive locomotion
drinking petro cocktails daily, burning ancient sludge
kia, scion, hyundai - making grand water promises
junk cars lined up ugly, disemboweled melted down
cars for kids at Wal-Mart, do we need children driving ’round?
i often wonder to myself how quiet the world would be
without the constant roaring sound of the automotive industry
not that i’d rewind the age, not that i’d go back
cause i’m wagering it’d be unpleasant
to smell a million horses drop a batch

medicine, medicine, medicine

by Wolfgang Nibori

dog medicine, sleep medicine, depression medicine
allergy medicine, migraine medicine, allergy medicine
a chemical cure to battle what ails you
a chemical bomb to explode within yourself
elements recombined as the alchemy of old
medicine, medicine, making up your mind
building seratonin trails, stringing neural trails
leaves me wondering if we’ll get a whole new set of ills

Air Squared (System of Invisibles)

by Wolfgang Nibori

welcome to the land of the Free Credit Report
infernal financial jungle where credit scores = credit scars
your line of credit becomes your identity
with that identity comes a shiny new risk: identity theft
your cheating neighbors take mortgage refinancing to skyscraper levels
they gut your numerals, play at being you, create a database doppleganger
yanking away your integrity, bruising your chance at home equity loans
since they’ve become you, too, squeezing your ability to borrow
until it’s wrung dry, worthless in the wind
another by product of Air Squared

tooled up networld

by Wolfgang Nibori

Bluetooth, a scurvy mange of pirate bold and merry?
Left to his own devices, port to port before the navies
Or a side effect of berry gorging and certain popsicles?
unless we speak of today when bluetooth marketing
virally inserts itself into the future, Matrixizing masses
marketing evolving us into cyborgs until suddenly arises
the species that has no need for standing erect:
a hive hungry 24 hour babbler known as Homo Cyberiens

red/white military

by Wolfgang Nibori

he said, "here’s a knife, use it well." then he showed me how
yet demonstration cannot do the jungle justice
he said, "here’s a map, a clean way out." it’s up to me this time
like to think i’m kinda sharp, the test is in the grind
push and shove and shout to see your stock shoot on up
wave the papers in their face, have another cup
the caffeine era’s set in hard, we’re banking on pure futures
a goal intangible for now, a dream carve from this existence
"here’s a knife, use it well." it’s on my shoulders now

you’ll never guess

by Wolfgang Nibori

coal-eyed cobra on the other side of the glass
despite the smoke and mirrors, sense your intention
no secret, the swaying way you go about injection
maybe there’s a little part of her that applauds
at the cocksure display of carelessness
of the many layers of painted lies across a truth
only takes a cyclops to capture the spray
how many years will pass before all nostalgia

It’s Kind of Strange

Friday, June 27th, 2008

I’ve not updated in a while, so I felt it was high time I actually did a little bit of personal talkage. So far the project’s progressing very slowly. However, I don’t mind that and in truth I expected that it would. It’d be very weird to sell a thousand dollars worth of poems right out the starting gates. I’m catching my stride, though, and I don’t believe I’ve missed a day of posting up new poems!

To each of you who’ve subscribed to my feed or simply visit frequently, thank you very much your support means a great deal to me. Oddly enough, SINMinX has become something of a refuge for me as of late. Most of you who’ve been frequenting since the first days know that I also write for other websites as well as a run a sizeable site catering to horror fans. I’m also learning as much as possible about marketing because it fascinates and it’s a part of art, as well. I’ve managed to get hooked up with a product I’m proud to promote (though I’m not going to plug it here right now) that’s an aspiring filmmaker’s dream come true. A good chunk of my time is going into that. I’d rather learn with someone else’s product the ins and outs of this crazy marketing stuff rather than put SINMinX through the wringer.

I will be posting more E-bay auctions, but the last one did not sell so I’ll go ahead and wait until a particularly striking poem reveals itself to me. I never write a poem with a sales intent behind it. Not because I feel that would be ‘wrong’, but when I’m writing and posting here each night/morning I’ve got a certain artistic freedom I really savor. As for the videos, my last one got blown off course so it may be a while. I’m going by whims at the moment. My main ambition is to keep creating fresh, sincere poems. I’ve got a luxury here and I intend to make the most of it while I can because I believe when people do begin to realize the advertising potential (or maybe even the artistic merit) of SINMinX, there’s going to be a gold rush and I’ll be drowning in poem orders to fill. I look forward to that day, but I also realize it may be overwhelming.

Oh, and look for the second and third sponsored poems to be posted up on the front page very soon. I’ll announce them here in the blog, as well. They’ve been paid for and the delay’s due to some scheduling difficulties the buyer’s been going through. She’s a terrific artist, though, and I do think you’ll enjoy seeing the artwork that will accompany the pages of the poems I’m writing for her. :)

Once again, thank you VERY much for all your support and (apparently) spreading the word about this blog! If you’ve got any comments or questions, feel free to speak you mind.

warm blooded

by Wolfgang Nibori

dry hiss of a near miss, the sizzle of error
before launching we undergo a process
aligning propulsion in streamline, calculating effects
yet the moment of ignition swings the door open on Chaos
Chaos will do whatever it deems momentarily sound
Chaos answers to no one, even itself, inherently random
yet without its existence possibility would suffocate
in the strict, cold confines of heartless Order
